The Prime Minister of Georgia has expressed his displeasure that Ukrainian politicians are interfering in Georgia’s domestic affairs. I think the whole world understands that preserving democracy in Georgia, whose government is full of Russian agents, is the main task of the entire international community,  Davit Arakhamia, the chairman of the Servant of the People faction in the Ukrainian Rada wrote on Telegram on Monday.

He stressed the “Georgian people understand this, but the PM pretends not to understand”.

“I believe he [PM Irakli Garibashvili] will begin to understand this when the accounts and transactions of his entourage are published. It is a pity that no one in Georgia will investigate this”, Arakhamia said, citing “common benefits” as the reason.

The MP also rejected Garibashvili’s claims that the Ukrainian authorities wished to see Georgia involved in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.

“Ukraine, like no one else, understands what war is and we cannot wish such suffering to anyone except Russia. Ukraine wants to join the European Union together with its Georgian brothers, and it is very painful to see how the Georgian government is going in the opposite direction,” Arakhamia noted.
