Khmaladze was appointed as Deputy Justice Minister on 15 May 2025

Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has signed an order dismissing Deputy Minister of Justice Irakli Khmaladze from his post.

The decision was made under Article 24, Paragraph 1 of the Law of Georgia “On the Structure, Powers and Rules of Operation of the Government of Georgia”, the decree said. 

“The decree stipulates that Irakli Khmaladze shall be released from the position of Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia as of 10 November 2025,” the document said.

Khmaladze was appointed as Deputy Justice Minister on 15 May 2025. Before joining the Ministry of Justice, he served as Deputy Mayor of Tbilisi.
