MP Kirtskhalia: these resolutions have same value as traitors who keep calling for sanctions against their own country

These resolutions have the same value as the traitors to their homeland who spare no effort in acting against their own country and keep demanding one sanction after another, Parliamentary Majority Leader and Chair of the Georgian Dream parliamentary faction Irakli Kirtskhalia said while commenting on the latest Council of Europe resolution following a majority meeting.

Kirtskhalia said Georgian society will not accept being spoken to in a directive or commanding tone.

"We will not accept directives and a commanding tone and this is the demand of our society. This is exactly what our so-called friends and so-called partners are concerned about. They clearly do not know the meaning of the word partnership. They think partnership means directives and finger-wagging. This will certainly not work with our country and our society.

“We have heard many absurd directives from them, many directives that directly contradict our sovereignty and the security of our country. These resolutions have the same value as those traitors to their homeland who spare no effort in acting against their own country and keep demanding one act of destruction after another, one sanction after another," Kirtskhalia said.
