Georgia has joined three declarations concerning space security and will continue close cooperation with its European partners on the issue, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists in Paris on Thursday.
He said Georgia would remain “fully engaged” in the relevant decision-making processes despite its limited resources as a small country.
“It is important for Europe to have its own vision and independent policy on space-related issues. As a small country, our resources in this area are limited, but we are part of the decision-making process. We participate in relevant decision-making through various international platforms. Therefore, naturally, our position is also important to our European partners,” Kobakhidze said.
“We have joined three different declarations concerning space security. We will continue close cooperation with our European colleagues on these issues. Georgia will be fully involved in the relevant decision-making process,” he added.
