The PM is scheduled to deliver a speech at the summit in a round table format.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze is attending the 6th European Political Union (EPC) Summit in Tirana, Albania, on the invitation of Antonio Costa, President of the European Council. The summit, hosted by the Albanian Prime Minister, brings together leaders from approximately 50 countries, alongside heads of European and international institutions.

Kobakhidze, accompanied by Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili and Head of Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani, participated in the summit’s opening session, which was followed by a joint photo of all attending leaders.

He is scheduled to deliver a speech at the summit in a round table format, where he intends to “highlight Georgia’s key national interests.” Speaking ahead of his address, Kobakhidze emphasized the importance of using the opportunity to engage with other European leaders on issues crucial to Georgia.

"The summit will be attended by leaders from all European countries. I will have the opportunity to deliver a speech in a round table format. We will also use this format to talk to leaders of different countries. Naturally, we will talk about the main messages of our country, which are related to our fundamental national interests," Kobakhidze pledged.

The European Political Union Summit serves as a platform for European leaders to discuss key issues affecting the continent, with a focus on enhancing cooperation and addressing common challenges.
