Georgian PM Irakli Kobakhidze to Address 81st UN General Assembly on September 24

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will attend the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, where he is scheduled to deliver an address during the General Debate on September 24, the Georgian government said.

According to the Government Administration, Kobakhidze will also participate in the Multilateral Partnership Summit and a high-level panel discussion on peace organised by Finland.

During his visit to New York, the prime minister is expected to hold bilateral meetings with leaders of several countries and UN Secretary-General António Guterres.

Kobakhidze is travelling to New York with a government delegation that includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
