Georgian PM: Peaceful Restoration of Territorial Integrity Is a Key National Objective

The peaceful restoration of Georgia’s territorial integrity is one of our key national objectives, and neither Baramidze, nor Gvaramia, nor Berdzenishvili, nor anyone else will be able to change that, regardless of what instructions or assignments they may receive, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told reporters.

According to the Prime Minister, it has become clear that these individuals have received new instructions and a new assignment from their leaders abroad.

“This is indicated first by Baramidze’s statement, then by Gvaramia’s statements, while Berdzenishvili had made similar remarks earlier. They have received a new line, new instructions and a new assignment aimed at pushing the issue of restoring territorial integrity into the background, which will not be allowed under any circumstances.

“Restoring territorial integrity is one of our key national objectives. The peaceful restoration of territorial integrity is one of our key national objectives, and neither Baramidze, nor Gvaramia, nor Berdzenishvili, nor anyone else will be able to change that, regardless of what instructions or assignments they may receive,” Kobakhidze said.
