Georgian PM mourns death of composer and singer Nunu Dugashvili

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has expressed his condolences following the death of renowned Georgian composer and singer Nunu Dugashvili.

In a statement of condolence, Kobakhidze said Dugashvili had left an indelible mark on contemporary Georgian musical art, with her work distinguished by its Georgian spirit and character.

“Her artistic legacy has always been met with great love and respect from Georgian society,” the prime minister said.

Kobakhidze extended his sympathies to Dugashvili's family and friends, as well as to the wider Georgian public.
