Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has invited Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze to the COP17 Leaders’ Summit, which Yerevan will host in October as part of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity.

The two prime ministers held a phone conversation during which Kobakhidze thanked Pashinyan for the invitation, the government press office said on Thursday.

The two sides also discussed the strategic partnership between Georgia and Armenia and the positive momentum in the development of cooperation across various areas, the press office added.
