Kutaisi Technology Hub Gains Momentum as Visitor Numbers Rise and TUMO Launch Nears

The Kutaisi Technology Hub is gradually expanding its activities after attracting nearly 10,800 visitors in its first month of operation, as preparations are underway to welcome the first cohort of students to the TUMO school.

The hub features a range of facilities, including a technology and science museum described as unique in Georgia and potentially across the wider region.

Georgia’s Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Irakli Nadareishvili, said interest in the facility has been strong among local residents, children and tourists.

“There is very high demand to visit the museum from local residents, children and tourists alike. We are preparing to welcome the first group of TUMO students. Step by step, the Kutaisi Technology Hub will take on the full range of functions it was designed to serve,” Nadareishvili said.

Nearly 10,800 people visited the Kutaisi Technology Hub during its first month of operation.
