MEP Juknevičienė: Georgia needs our attention and support

European Parliament member Rasa Juknevičienė on Saturday said Georgia requires international attention and support as the country holds one of its most significant protest rallies in recent years.

“Georgia needs our attention and support. Today, one of the most important protest rallies for European Georgia is taking place,” Juknevičienė wrote on social media.

Meanwhile, a large protest march is underway in Tbilisi, with citizens gathering on Rustaveli Avenue. Demonstrators are carrying banners and flags, with organisers announcing plans for speeches and public addresses later in the day. Law enforcement remains mobilised across the capital to monitor the rally.
