Man arrested in Tbilisi over stabbing near university

Police in Tbilisi have arrested a man on suspicion of intentionally causing serious bodily injury after allegedly stabbing another person during an altercation near Grigol Robakidze University on Monday, Georgia’s Interior Ministry said.

The suspect wounded the victim with a bladed weapon during a verbal confrontation before fleeing the scene. The injured man was taken to a medical facility for treatment.
