US Vice President JD Vance said he is proud of the United States’ partnership with Armenia, praising the achievements of President Trump and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a joint press conference.
“Armenia is a remarkable country, and I know President Trump sends his best regards to you and the Armenian people,” Vance said, calling Pashinyan a forward-looking leader who has brought peace to the nation.
Vance highlighted the role of economic cooperation in supporting long-term stability.
“We are announcing a major economic collaboration that would not be possible without your leadership and the peace we see in this country,” he said. He also described ongoing regional transformations as creating opportunities for trade, transit, and energy connections, fostering sustainable peace.
The Vice President announced a US military technology sale to Armenia, including $11 million worth of intelligence drones, saying it will help secure lasting peace in the region.
