Former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has voiced strong support for the Georgian people, accusing the Georgian government of election fraud under alleged Russian influence. In a social media post, Johnson labeled the October 26 parliamentary election as “stolen by Putin’s puppet government in Tbilisi,” implying Russian interference in Georgia’s political process.

“The picture emerging from Georgia is clear – yesterday’s election has been stolen by Putin’s puppet government in Tbilisi.

I back the people of Georgia as they stand up for their freedom, their rights and their future,” Johnson’s post on X reads.
