Mayor Kaladze visits China to inspect metro cars being built for Tbilisi

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze has travelled to the People’s Republic of China on a working visit, during which he is scheduled to meet the mayor of Nanjing, Li Zhongjun, the Tbilisi City Hall press office said on Monday.

As part of the visit, Kaladze and members of the Georgian delegation will visit CRRC, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of railway rolling stock. There, they are scheduled to meet CRRC Chairman Sun Yongcai and inspect the metro cars being manufactured for Tbilisi.

The Georgian delegation also includes Giorgi Sharkov, director of the Tbilisi Transport Company.
