Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze has nominated Kakha Abuladze for the position of deputy mayor, highlighting his experience leading the city’s Agency for Managing Public Kindergartens.

Speaking at a municipal government meeting on Wednesday, Kaladze noted that Abuladze oversaw the agency from October 2023 and played a “key role” in implementing a number of successful projects and programs for the city’s public kindergartens.

“Abuladze holds a doctorate in medicine and has been teaching at Tbilisi State Medical University since 2022. Previously, he served as deputy head of the Youth Agency under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, and held various managerial roles in Tbilisi City Hall overseeing youth and sports initiatives. Given his knowledge and experience, I am confident he will successfully contribute as deputy mayor,” Kaladze said.

The mayor also wished Abuladze success in his new role, emphasizing the responsibility of serving the city and its residents. “The coming years will be even more interesting for our capital. Through our daily work, we are ready to make Tbilisi more beautiful and comfortable for everyone,” he added.
