Three teenagers arrested for attempted burglary in Gurjaani

Following investigative actions, all three suspects were apprehended in the immediate aftermath of the incident

Officers from the Kakheti Police Department’s Gurjaani District Division in eastern Georgia have detained three individuals - born in 2006 and 2007 - for attempting to break into a home as part of a premeditated group operation.
The suspects reportedly disguised themselves and entered a residence in the village of Shashiani, Gurjaani Municipality, belonging to a local resident identified as A.M., with the intent to steal money. The attempt was unsuccessful, and the perpetrators fled the scene.
Following investigative actions, all three suspects were apprehended in the immediate aftermath of the incident.
The case is being investigated under Article 178 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which carries a penalty of up to eight years in prison.
