Former US Congressman Adan Kinzinger has accused Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili of telling a “lie” over the European Parliament’s “attempt” to drag Georgia into the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.

“This is an absolute lie, and the Prime Minister knows it.  Why would we want Georgia to expand the war? We wouldn’t and they know it.Why does Georgia Dream insist on siding with loser, terrorist state Russia?I know the Georgian people. Seems the prime minister doesn’t”, Kinzinger tweeted.

In his interview with Imedi TV on Sunday the PM also said “the European Parliament, with its shameful resolution, directly admitted that [former president Mikheil Saakashvili is their agent, and they will do everything to save their agent and free him from prison. This will not happen”.
