Film director Gogoberidze: “Art is eternal, dictatorship is temporary”

Film director Lana Gogoberidze has emphasized the enduring nature of art and its connection to the heartbeat of the people, asserting that dictatorship is always temporary.

Speaking about broader societal issues rather than just cinema, Gogoberidze reflected on a recent event she described as an extraordinary performance showcasing the power of free spirit and national energy.

“Art is true and for the people when it resonates with the pulse of the nation. I was delighted to witness this yesterday. Art—whether cinema, theater or any other form—is eternal. Dictatorship, however, is fleeting,” she stated.
