The opposition United National Movement has called for greater activity and mobilisation among opposition groups, with party governing council member Lasha Parulava saying the UNM should not be the only force "on the front line".
Parulava said opposition parties and individuals who had been active in 2024 but were no longer visibly engaged in opposition politics should return to the public sphere.
"The opposition needs to be more active and work harder. There can be no passivity on any side now; greater mobilisation is needed," Parulava said.
"Where have these people gone? Where did they go? This country belongs to everyone and we must all fight. The United National Movement cannot be the only one on the front line," he said.
Parulava said there was no time to lose and called on opposition forces to focus their efforts on political activity.
