Miriam M. Lexmann, a prominent Member of the European Parliament, has condemned the Georgian government’s recent crackdown on opposition figures and organizations, describing it as “utterly unacceptable.”

Taking to X, Lexmann highlighted the arrest of Nika Gvaramia, a leader of the Coalition for Change, as well as police raids on opposition party offices. She urged European leaders, including Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas and the European Council, to take decisive action.
