Lithuania bans entry to 10 more Georgian officials linked to ruling party

The newly sanctioned individuals include members of parliament, judges, prosecutors, and regional officials

Lithuania has added ten more Georgian officials linked to the ruling Georgian Dream party to its list of persona non grata, barring their entry into the country until 2030, the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry confirmed on Monday.
The newly sanctioned individuals include members of parliament, judges, prosecutors, and regional officials. Among them are:
Nino Tsilosani, Georgian Dream MP
Mariam Lashkhi, Georgian Dream MP
Razhden Kuprashvili, Head of the Anti-Corruption Bureau
Nino Galustashvili, Judge
Jvebe Nachkebia, Judge
Irakli Shvangiradze, Judge
Mariam Meshveliani, Prosecutor
Natia Tatiashvili, Prosecutor
Sulkhan Tamazashvili, Chairman of the Government of Adjara
Victor Metreveli, Judge
Earlier, Lithuania had imposed visa sanctions on 102 individuals from Georgia, citing concerns over the deterioration of democratic institutions and adoption of controversial legislations.
Vilnius has been one of the most vocal critics of the Georgian Dream government within the EU and NATO, warning that recent political developments in Georgia are endangering its Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
