Lot of strength needed not to give up, not to return to darkness due to fear of peril – Eminence Grigol

Metropolitan of Poti and Khobi, Eminence Grigol, on Wednesday highlighted a difficult path the country’s citizens had been taking for more than three decades, and called for strength “not to give up, not to decide to return to darkness due to fear of peril”. 

During a service, the top cleric stressed despite the desire of humans to live full of joy while physically alive, life was full of hardships and challenges, adding “injustices and difficulties should not scare us, just accept them as given”. 

“It is not easy to serve the truth. Every person has his own choice, his own cross, his own ability and opportunity, to whom we can serve the Lord, but whatever we do, should be for the glory of the Lord”, he said.
