Georgia’s Foreign Minister Meets New German Ambassador

Georgian Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili held an introductory meeting with Germany’s Ambassador to Georgia, Barbara Voss, the Foreign Ministry said.

The talks focused on bilateral relations between Georgia and Germany, as well as Georgia’s relations with the European Union.

The two sides also discussed recent developments in Georgia and the wider region, with particular attention to security challenges and the importance of maintaining peace.

Bochorishvili wished the German ambassador success in her diplomatic mission and expressed hope that her tenure would contribute positively to the further development of Georgian-German relations, according to the ministry.
