A man attacked a Bank of Georgia branch in Kvareli, eastern Kakheti region of Georgia shortly before. 

 

He is allegedly armed with a hand-grenade and holding up to 15 individuals hostage. 

 

The man has not been identified so far, a local official said. 

 

The attacher is allegedly demanding half million GEL. 

 

Police are at the scene

 

Two individuals managed to run out of the building as soon as the attacker emerged.
