Georgian Economy Minister Mariam Kvrivishvili on Saturday said the Government had maintained peace, stability, and steady economic growth, despite repeated attempts to portray the country as being in crisis.
Speaking at a briefing held at the party’s headquarters, Kvrivishvili emphasised that Georgia’s economic progress was the direct result of the Government’s stable and long-term policies.
“For years, our Government has shown both domestically and internationally that Georgia has preserved peace, stability, and sustainable economic growth,” she said.
Kvrivishvili added Georgia continued to rank as a leader in economic performance both in the wider region and among European countries. She cited post-pandemic figures as evidence: 9.6 percent growth in 2021, 9.4 percent in 2022, and an average of eight percent growth during the first nine months of this year.
“This is the result of our policies. We are ensuring a stable environment, safeguarding peace, and doing everything necessary to guarantee sustainable economic growth. This also means improving the well-being of every citizen and family, as well as creating new jobs. We have a clear plan, and we are following it consistently,” Kvrivishvili stated.
