Adam Kadyrov, the son of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, has reportedly been seriously injured in a car accident in Grozny and is being transferred to Moscow for medical treatment.
The information was reported on Telegram by the Chechen opposition channel Niyso, citing its sources. According to the report, a major traffic accident involving senior government officials of the republic took place in Grozny, prompting road closures across the city.
Sources claim that the new Republican Hospital in Grozny has been closed to other patients due to the incident. “All of this is being done for one person who is in critical condition. He is in intensive care and is being prepared for transfer to Moscow,” the channel reported.
According to the same sources, Kadyrov’s motorcade was travelling at high speed when several vehicles collided, injuring multiple people. However, the main focus has reportedly been on Adam Kadyrov, whose condition is described as critical.
