Georgia has expelled 31 foreign nationals in a recent series of operations targeting illegal migration, the country's Ministry of Internal Affairs announced on Monday.

The measures, conducted in coordination with the Ministry’s Migration Department and other relevant units, resulted in the removal of individuals from 13 countries, including Iran, India, Turkey, Turkmenistan, China, Egypt, Burundi, Kazakhstan, Jordan, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Iraq.

“In accordance with the current legislation, the expelled persons were banned from entering the country,” the ministry said in a statement.
