Georgia has expelled 67 foreign nationals in recent days following enforcement operations carried out by the Interior Ministry's Migration Department in coordination with other ministry units.
The ministry on Tuesday said the individuals were citizens of Turkey, India, Egypt, Russia, Azerbaijan, Cuba, Armenia, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Turkmenistan, Lebanon, Moldova, Nepal, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, China and other countries.
The expulsions followed a series of comprehensive measures conducted by the Migration Department, the ministry said.
Under Georgian law, all 67 people have been banned from re-entering the country.
The Interior Ministry said in July that 2,036 foreign nationals had been expelled during the first six months of 2026, exceeding the total recorded for the whole of 2025.
