Georgian law enforcement expel 84 foreign citizens

Georgia’s Interior Ministry has expelled 84 foreign nationals from the country in recent days as part of measures carried out by its Migration Department in coordination with other ministry units.

Those expelled include citizens of India, Egypt, Türkiye, Russia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Thailand, Lebanon, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Ghana, Jordan, Pakistan, Nigeria, the Philippines and China, among other countries.

The ministry said the individuals were expelled following a series of comprehensive measures conducted by the Migration Department. Under Georgian law, those expelled have also been banned from re-entering the country.

More than 3,000 people have been expelled from Georgia since the beginning of 2026, according to the Interior Ministry.
