Georgia deports 85 foreign nationals

Georgia has deported 85 foreign nationals in recent days, the Interior Ministry said on Wednesday.

The Migration Department, in coordination with other Interior Ministry units, deported citizens of Turkey, India, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Russia, Egypt, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Ethiopia, Jordan, Cuba, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, the Philippines and other countries.

The deported individuals have also been banned from entering Georgia in accordance with the law.

Since the beginning of 2026, Georgia has deported 2,726 foreign nationals staying illegally in the country, more than twice the total recorded for the whole of 2025, the MIA press office said.
