Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili and Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić visited Georgia's Kakheti region alongside First Ladies Tamar Bagrationi and Tamara Vučić as part of the Serbian leader's official visit to Georgia.
According to the presidential administration, the delegation toured the Alaverdi Monastery and cathedral complex, where they were hosted by Metropolitan David Makharadze. The visit highlighted the shared Orthodox Christian heritage and cultural ties between the Georgian and Serbian peoples.
The leaders also visited the Badagoni winery, where company founder Giorgi Salakaia introduced guests to Georgia's winemaking traditions and modern production methods.
As part of the ceremony, a symbolic wine barrel bearing President Vučić's name was placed at the winery as a gesture of friendship and hospitality.
