Georgian President attends official reception hosted on behalf of Italian President

Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili attended an official reception held on behalf of Italian President Sergio Mattarella, alongside his wife Tamar Bagrationi and Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili.

According to the Presidential Administration, the event was organised in honour of foreign heads of state attending the opening ceremony of the XXV Winter Olympic Games. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni was also present at the reception.

The ceremony took place at the historic Palazzo Reale.
