Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili has met UN Secretary-General António Guterres in Geneva, the president's press service said on Monday.
The two sides discussed the global security environment, current international challenges and cooperation between Georgia and the United Nations.
Kavelashvili stressed the importance of multilateralism and a rules-based international order as foundations for peace, security and sustainable development, the press service said.
The meeting also focused on support for Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Georgian president also reiterated his invitation for Guterres to make an official visit to Georgia.
