Georgian President meets Azerbaijani Prime Minister in Baku to strengthen strategic partnership

During his official visit to Baku, Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili met with Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister, Ali Asadov, to discuss the strategic partnership between the two neighboring countries.

“We discussed key directions of our countries’ strategic partnership and the successful cooperation across various areas, including multilateral formats. We underscored the importance of further strengthening trade and economic ties and advancing joint regional projects.,” Kavelashvili wrote on X.

He also highlighted the critical role of peace and stability in the region and expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijan for its unwavering support of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
