Georgian President pardons 33 prisoners for Easter

President Mikheil Kavelashvili has pardoned 33 convicted individuals in a special decree issued to mark the Easter holiday, the presidential administration announced.
In a brief statement, the administration said the pardoned individuals would now have the chance to reintegrate into society. “After leaving prison, the pardoned persons will have the opportunity to return to their families and become full-fledged members of society,” the statement read.
