Georgian Health Minister Mikheil Sarjveladze and CEO of Swiss pharmaceutical company Roche, Teresa Graham, on Friday discussed expanding cooperation in the healthcare sector, with a particular focus on cancer medicines and treatment for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
According to the Ministry of Health, the talks covered existing cooperation between Georgia and Roche, as well as future areas of partnership in healthcare.
Particular attention was given to cooperation on oncology medicines and Elevidys, a gene therapy used to treat Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
