Georgian Gov’t expresses condolences, concern over Middle East conflict

The Government of Georgia has expressed “deep concern” over the ongoing military operations in the Middle East, which “threaten the security and well-being of all countries in the region.”
Georgia extended its condolences to the Iranian people and the Islamic Republic of Iran, where the conflict has resulted in “numerous casualties, including political leaders, civilians, and children.” Condolences were also offered to the Jewish people and the State of Israel for the loss of civilian lives.
The Georgian government reaffirmed its solidarity with the Gulf Arab states, emphasizing the country’s “close and distinguished partnerships” in the region.
