As noted by the Chief of Operations, from August 14 to September 4, festivals, entertainment events, concerts and sports competitions are completely restricted, as well as the work of children’s entertainment centers;

As you know, as in the rest of the world, the epidemiological situation in Georgia is difficult, mainly due to the wide circulation of the new delta strain. Based on the analysis of epidemiological indicators and trends, the Coordinating Council, despite the intensity of the immunization process in August, considered it necessary to impose certain restrictions.

According to the decision of the Coordinating Council, from August 14 to September 4, for 3 weeks, the following restrictions will apply: the movement of municipal transport will be restricted. The restriction does not apply to intercity transport; Fully restricted festivals, entertainment events, concerts and sports competitions; The work of children’s entertainment centers will be restricted, ” said Giorgi Ghibradze.
