NCDC head: 900,000 Pfizer doses available, none of them expired

Head of Georgia’s National Centre for Disease Control, Amiran Gamkrelidze, says that about 900,000 doses of Pfizer coronavirus vaccine are available in Georgia as of today and none of them are expired. 

He said earlier today that the data of the last portion of the vaccine empires by the end of March 2022. 

Georgia has allowed the vaccination of teens aged 12 and 15 earlier today only with the German-US Pfizer vaccine. 

The country has reported 6,021 new cases of coronavirus, 3,792 recoveries and 75 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

53,536 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia. 

2,010,783 individuals have been vaccinated in Georgia since March 2021 of which 954,991 have been completely vaccinated.
