New railway station added near Kutaisi airport

A new station will be added to the Georgian Railway passenger trains starting April 30, in  Kopitnari, near Kutaisi International Airport in western Georgia, Georgian Railway announced earlier today.

The renovated railway station connected with Kutaisi Airport will receive passengers from different cities of Georgia, while the Kutaisi Airport administration will ensure their transportation to the airport with specially allocated transport.

It will take about five minutes to get to the airport from the railway station.

The cost of the train ticket will include transportation to Kutaisi Airport.

The upgraded station meets modern standards and is tailored to the needs of people with disabilities.

Tickets to Kopitnari will be on sale starting  April 29
