A runoff round will take place in the so-called early presidential election in occupied Abkhazia, with Badra Gunba and Adgur Ardzinba advancing to the second round.

A total of five candidates participated in the so-called election, which was held on February 15.

According to the de facto Central Election Commission, 152 polling stations were opened in Abkhazia, along with two additional polling stations in Russia—one in Moscow and another in Cherkessk. The commission claims that the voter list includes 134,000 people.

The so-called elections have been widely condemned as illegitimate, as Abkhazia remains under Russian occupation.
