Georgian Justice Minister Paata Salia and Saeed bin Mubarak Al Hajeri, the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates on Thursday discussed prospects for deepening relations between the two countries.
The Ministry of Justice said during the talks, Salia presented Georgia’s recent justice sector reforms and highlighted the Ministry’s introduction of the innovative Smart Contract service, which enables Georgian citizens to carry out real estate transactions remotely from anywhere in the world.
The meeting also reviewed progress made following a productive visit last autumn, as well as a memorandum signed earlier this year with PRYPCO Technologies, aimed at fostering co-operation in the use of advanced technologies in the real estate sector.
Particular attention was given to property tokenisation, a process that converts real assets into digital units, opening new opportunities for innovation in property transactions and investment.
