Parliament adopts bill on Education Quality Enhancement

The Georgian Parliament has adopted a bill on Education Quality Enhancement in a third reading with a total of 74 votes on Wednesday.

 

The parliament has also approved the accompanying bills on general and higher education in the country.

 

The legislative package includes the annulment of programme accreditation in schools. The new bill assigns the Education Quality Enhancement Center to carry out school authorisations.
