Georgians will protest fuel prices in the capital Tbilisi on Sunday, on March 27 which are at an all-time-high, hitting almost four GEL and more for one liter.

A rally against the increase of fuel prices has been planned at the Republic Square in central Tbilisi  in a Facebook group called “refusal to fuel prices”.

Demonstrators will demand the abolishment of the excise tax which currently stands at 38 tetri per liter and the reduction of a Value Added Tax (VAT) from existing 18% to 10%.
