Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili says that the NATO-Georgia exercise, which will be completed tomorrow on the 11th day from its launch, was  another ‘clear proof’ there is a ‘strong political and practical cooperation’ between the alliance and Georgia.

This year, the third NATO-Georgia exercise was dedicated to identifying, mastering and developing the skills needed to plan operations with computer simulations.

“Training in this area is not only an excellent way to share knowledge and experience, but also strengthens our coordination and promotes security and stability,” Garibashvili said today, at the event dedicated to the exercise

He stated that Georgia is a democratic state which is acting in accordance with the rule of law..

“We have proven this many times through our democratic reforms and our own contribution to global security. Submitting an application for EU membership is an expression of the aspiration for common values and cultural identity,” Garibashvili said.

He thanked Georgia’s partners for participating in the exercise during the hostilities in Ukraine ‘which is a challenge for the whole of Europe.’
