Prime Minister, Cabinet members, Tbilisi Mayor discuss Georgia’s long-term development strategy

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Sunday met with members of the Cabinet and Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze to discuss the main directions of the Government’s long-term development strategy.
The Government Administration said Kobakhidze highlighted that the strategy would serve as a roadmap to ensure the country’s consistent and stable development over the coming years. Therefore, it is essential to define priority areas, specific goals and objectives.
“The strategy will focus primarily on education, healthcare, economic and social development issues. In each of these areas, clear goals will be set for the progress Georgia aims to achieve in the coming years”, the Administration said.
Work on the document will continue intensively, and it will be presented to the public in the near future, the body added.
