For instance, the same UNM, then the Speaker David Bakradze and others kept going to the EU begging not to grant Georgia a visa-free travel arrangement and the same has been happening now. They had all their lobbyist organizations mobilized, along with their affiliates to not grant us the status of an EU Candidate Country. That is the force we are sadly and unfortunately dealing with. It was stated by Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia today.

The Head of Government of Georgia noted that irrespective of challenges, the country is governed by a patriotic team, which brought a lot of benefits to Georgia.

“Thanks God, the patriotic team is in power today, which brought a lot of benefits to the country. A great number of large-scale projects are planned. We are launching wide-scale initiatives in infrastructure, construction of school buildings. We have made very substantial progress in the economy with an unprecedented, double-digit economic growth during the past two years in a row. Irrespective of the challenges, we manage to keep GEL stable and solid, have a double-digit economic growth, created 220 000 new jobs in the past two years, increased GDP by 10 BLN USD and Per Capita GDP to 8000 USD. Of course, our enemies are not happy with this as all they want is sabotage and destruction” concluded Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia.
