The agency of IDPs has launched the relocation process of IDPs from the former sanatorium in Tbilisi following the recent death of an IDP living there.

Witnesses say that the man jumped from the building in protest as the families living in the damaged block of flats had been demanding relocation for a long time.

Police are currently looking into the reasons of death.

The state agency says that nine families have already been given flats, while seven others have themselves chosen apartments.

The agency says that all families living in the former sanatorium will be relocated until the end of the year.
