Rubio and Lavrov hold ‘constructive’ phone talks on US-Russia relations

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov have held a telephone conversation, discussing bilateral relations and the broader international situation.

According to Russia’s Foreign Ministry, the two diplomats exchanged views on global developments as well as ties between the United States and Russia.

They also reviewed the schedule of upcoming bilateral contacts, the Ministry said.

The conversation was described as “constructive and businesslike” by the Russian side.
